December 21st, 2012. That's when they said the world was going
to end. How was it to happen? No one really knew for sure...
there have been all sorts of ideas, each crazier than the last.
As the date of the supposed end of the world neared, some
people became frightened; some people were not affected at all,
and just went about their lives. Things started happening,
though. First, a major oil spill in LA, then a terrible
nuclear plant accident in Illinois. Inhabitants of Illinois
were evacuated to a southern city called Belleville. The group
of people that worked at the nuclear plant looked into the
problem and thought it was simply nothing. They were wrong.
Although humans were evacuated quickly enough, wild animals
had gotten into the nuclear product and had begun to change.
They became rabid and dangerous – deathly, even. No attention
was paid to them as the workers from the nuclear plant were attempting
to clean up the mess that was made by a group of careless workers.

It was assumed that everything would return to normal after
the nuclear spill was cleaned up. People would move back to
northern Illinois and continue their lives, but one of the infected
animals had bitten a worker, and everything went downhill
from there. The man began to change; and he started to behave the
same way as the strange animal was behaving. Rabid, dangerous
and deathly... he began brutally murdering the other workers.
December 20th, 2012 was the day that the bitten worker began to
feed on his kills; the murdered workers reviving and living
again – though completely changed and with a hunger for human
flesh. Soon, all the workers had been killed or ate each other.
A few military members were sent to investigate the problem
on December 21st, 2012. As soon as they realized what was happening,
they panicked – not being ready for the truth that they had laid
their eyes on. These workers had turned into flesh-eating,
moaning, growling, rabid zombies.

Their infection spread to people around them that had
escaped evacuation from the nuclear plant leak. The infected
people walked about the earth in a straggling shuffle. They,
too, ate human flesh, and there was only one word to describe
what their behaviour made them: zombies. The infection spread quickly
and it had spread widely throughout the large state
in a matter of two months. February has been a month of disaster
for everyone living in Illinois. the military and the rest of america
have seemed to have forgotten you and the last few survivors. Can you out last
the infected and find freedom or will the infected feed for one more
night? THIS IS ZomApocalypse.
